A Baruch College student reportedly committed suicide Monday by jumping from a classroom window, according to The New York Post.
Baruch student Kevin Manirampa was pronounced dead on arrival after falling onto a fourth floor terrace of a campus building at Lexington Avenue and 23rd Street, student newspaper The Ticker reports. The 20-year-old student was from Staten Island.
Baruch College is currently in the final exams period for the end of the semester.
While details of Manirampa’s death are still under investigation, according to The Ticker, many students were in the building and taking exams when the New York Police Department found his body.
